About Us

Luneside Care was founded in 2025 by close, long standing friends, Henry Clark and Daren Greenall, both from Lancaster, Lancashire. We specialise in supporting children and young people in a residential care setting. Both Henry and Daren have worked in this capacity since 2017, and throughout their careers have worked their way from entry roles into senior management roles, having gained extensive skills and knowledge from experiences during each role. From directors to all other job roles within Luneside, we have the collective view and desire to make a positive change to the lives of children who are cared for in our homes.

Luneside originates from Lancaster, representing the River Lune, which is one of the many beautiful attractions of the local area, and correlates with childhood roots and a deeper desire to provide meaningful care and support for children inside, and outside of the area. Young people will be supported on a 1:1 basis predominantly as we believe this model works best to enable the best forming of meaningful relationships and supporting providing more intricate and individual care planning.

Having researched statistical data sharing information for care leavers, including figures suggesting an increased risk of homelessness and imprisonment, we aim to be a positive attribute for disrupting the care industry for the better. Investment in staff is also critical in the future planning for each home that Luneside provides/ will provide, meaning that development of our staff is important. They will undertake training that is specific to both their role and the needs of the home and children. Our ethos is important to us, and we believe that collaborative working will provide consistent care for the children in our homes, but also promoting healthy wellbeing within our teams.
